The Blurb was established in 2008 as a means of providing a base for all people to showcase their creative talents. Be it novels, short stories, or poetry; observation, interesting facts, or opinions, we encourage you to share your work.
In time we’ll also introduce interviews and articles with/by the professionals, and have ongoing reviews of work being released.
We want The Blurb to become the Creative Central.
We’re currently looking for creative people to join the team and start providing the website with their work. You will have complete freedom to submit anything you like, and if you want to keep on contributing you can even have your own page.
Examples of what we’re looking for:
- Novels: to publish as weekly or monthly serials, depending on when you’re happy to submit the next serial.
- Short stories
- Poetry
- Articles: about current affairs, interesting facts, random thoughts etc. Basically, anything that’s on your mind, anything that’s QI (Quite Interesting) and so on.
- Plays/Scripts: write plays? tv / film scripts? we want to see it!
- Blogs: the site works with WordPress. If you have a blog you can write posts from your own WordPress admin panel and publish them straight on to the site.
And so much more….
Whatever you’re interested in, The Blurb wants to publish it on the website. If you’re passionate about what you do and want other people to see your work and give you feedback, then why not get involved?
